Dan Pfeiffer, a senior adviser to former President Barack Obama, said Thursday that polling and data experts believe the race between former President Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris is extremely close, far more than most reporters do.

National polls have found Trump and Harris locked in a tight race in the final months before Election Day, with a recent CNN poll showing Harris with slight leads in Michigan and Wisconsin, while Trump has a lead in Arizona, while Georgia, Nevada and Pennsylvania are all neck and neck.

Kamala Harris has not held a formal press conference since emerging as the Democratic candidate.
