Jase Robertson discovers Google concerned Christians

In the episode “Unashamed,” Jace Robertson We've waded into the complex subject of anger. The Bible is full of verses about emotions that make our blood boil and our fists clench, but it can be hard to work out exactly how Christians should respond to those particular feelings.

For example, let us look at this verse in Ephesians chapter 4:

Ephesians 4:26 : “Be angry, and yet do not sin; and do not let your anger endure until the sun goes down.”

Ephesians 4:31: “Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, slander be put away from you, together with all malice.”

It is easy to imagine some people walking away confused, not knowing how to process their anger.

But Jace Robertson asks you, “Are you angry that God is angry?”

“We can get angry at terrible things that happen to other human beings, and that's OK, but all we can do is accept God's wrath. We have to move on and live the life of love that is Christ Jesus,” he says.

And when it comes to the subject of God's wrath, Jace says many Christians get it very wrong.

“About 80 percent of the times in the entire Bible the word 'anger' or 'wrath' is used, it refers to God. In the Bible, when someone is angry, it's usually God,” Al says.

“Two-thirds of Jesus' parables talked about resurrection, standing before God, judgment and hell towards the end,” Jace agreed, adding, “When some people read Ephesians, they start serving an angry God.”

He added that these erroneous believers assert falsehoods such as “God doesn't love everyone,” which he said are far more “controversial” than he had imagined.

“I did a Google search,” he admits, “and of the top 30 searches, 28 of them said something like, 'God doesn't love everyone,' and that bothered me.”

Jace said the Google search results revealed a very disturbing truth: a very large percentage of Christians truly believe that God doesn't love everyone, or that God loves some people more than others.

“I'm completely against that,” Jace says.
