Zhou Guanyu’s epic Singapore Grand Prix helmet features his cat

Themed helmets are nothing new in the world of F1.

Over the years, our drivers have paid tribute to local customs, personal projects, causes that are important to them, and many other sources of inspiration.

But Sauber driver Zhou Guanyu may be putting in his best performance yet this weekend.

Ahead of this week's Singapore Grand Prix, Zhou has unveiled a themed helmet for the race, with Marina Bay Sands featured on the back. The iconic building is made up of three towers inspired by a deck of playing cards, with the Sands SkyPark at its peak. Though it looks like a cruise ship, it's actually a three-acre site with pools, jogging paths and parks atop the three towers.

It's certainly distinctive, but what makes Zhou's helmet stand out this week is the cameo appearance of none other than Sweet Corn.

His Cat:

Combine it all and you have one of the best designs of the season.

Sweet Corn has featured numerous times in Driver's social media posts since the cat was introduced to the world last December.

But now, Zhou's helmet for the Singapore Grand Prix has sweet corn on it.
