Is it malicious?
Or is it simply a matter of seeing what she makes them do?
Either way, a new poll of North Carolina voters suggests that Taylor Swift's reputation is in tatters after her time supporting the president.
A Victory Insights survey of 600 likely general election voters across North Carolina, conducted September 16-18, found that voters in the crucial battleground state are rebelling against the Queen of Pop, wanting her to focus on writing songs rather than making political statements.
Asked to rate Swift on a scale of one to five, 30 percent of respondents gave her a “1,” which corresponds to an “extremely negative” rating for the chart-topping singer.
An additional 9% rated her a “2,” signifying less extreme dislike.
The nearly 40% dislike of Taylor in the Tar Heel State is higher than her approval rating after she announced her endorsement, in a poll that surveyed 4% more Democrats than Republicans.
31% of respondents still have a positive opinion of the pop star after her appearance on “KHive.”
An equal number of Tar Heel Staters are indifferent toward Taylor as those who support her, and about 30% report being neutral on the feud with Swift.

Swift's downfall is reflected in the fact that Elon Musk, who made an unsolicited offer to impregnate the childfree, cat-loving Swift just days before the poll was taken, is more popular than the pop princess in battleground states, with 35% holding a favorable view of Musk and 39% holding an unfavorable view.
Polls here are negative for Taylor but far more positive for Donald Trump, who is leading Harris in this poll 49% to 45%, a much bigger lead than the 0.3% he has. State Average.
Independents are leading the poll, with support for the former president 43% to 27%.
But Trump is unlikely to help North Carolina Lt. Governor Mark Robinson, a Republican running for governor this year.
Democrat Josh Stein leads Robinson, 47% to 42%. With 7% of Trump supporters undecided, Republicans have a narrow path forward in persuading reluctant Trump supporters.
Trump-Stein supporters are just 2% more likely to vote for him than Harris-Robinson supporters, at 0.5%.
