Victor Davis Hanson Warns Only Two Things Can Stop Assassination Attempts Against Trump

Victor Davis Hanson, a senior fellow at the Hoover Institution, warned on his podcast Thursday that only the Biden-Harris administration and the Secret Service can thwart further assassination attempts against former President Donald Trump.

The second assassination attempt against President Trump came after suspect Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, fired multiple shots at the former president and his supporters at a rally in Pennsylvania on July 13. Following the incident, the Secret Service faced immediate backlash as witnesses and local officials had seen Crooks multiple times at the rally.
