Jets’ Morgan Moses expected to miss 2-4 weeks with MCL sprain

Robert Saleh's instincts were right, despite the Jets head coach's excuses for being wrong so many times before.

The knee injury that right tackle Morgan Moses suffered during Thursday's 24-3 win over the Patriots is not season-ending, with the veteran offensive lineman expected to miss only two to four weeks with an MCL sprain and bone bruise, the NFL Network reported Saturday.

Rookie Olu Fashanu will start in place of Moses when the Jets host the Broncos in Week 4 and will look to start the 2024 season with a 3-1 record.

The unit tasked with protecting 40-year-old quarterback Aaron Rodgers went the first two weeks without an injury, but Moses, acquired from the Ravens in the offseason, left the game with an injury in the third quarter.
