5 Polls Good for Trump, Bad for Harris

Recent polls suggest that President Donald Trump's approval ratings have soared in the final 50 days of the presidential campaign, while Vice President Kamala Harris appears to be coming off a sugar high.

The five polls below are important for a few reasons: First, all of these polls were conducted during the second assassination attempt on President Trump on September 15th and do not fully take into account the impact of this horrific event, which suggests that we will see more favorable polling of President Trump in the coming days.

Second, all of the polls were sampled among respondents (likely voters) after the second Trump-Harris debate. While Harris' campaign had hoped her candidate's momentum would continue after voters watched the two debate, the data seems to suggest that the debate ultimately worked against Harris and in favor of Trump.

For example, RMG Research release A major survey conducted Friday showed that Trump's approval rating has increased by two points nationwide since the debate and the second assassination attempt.

Third, some polls suggest that Harris faces a tough calculus to win the November election. The polls show Trump leading in Georgia, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania, which would be enough for Trump to win the 270 electoral college votes even without Nevada or Michigan. Conversely, the Emerson poll shows Trump winning Wisconsin, Arizona, Georgia, and Pennsylvania, which would be enough for Trump to win even without North Carolina, Nevada, and Michigan.

Fourth, Trump is leading in several national polls. If he wins the popular vote, he could carry many battleground states and give the president a historic landslide victory. Trump's approval rating is 70 percent. chance According to polls from RealClearPolitics and Silver Bulletin, the chances of an Electoral College victory are less than 10%.

But many of the polls are within the margin of error, and some Republicans have warned that there is too much “optimism” and Trump still has to overcome political foes including the administrative state, the media, the Obama/Clinton camp, and a Democratic candidate who will say or do anything to win.

“The Republican Party needs all patriots to volunteer to get out the vote for President Trump and ensure the integrity of our election,” Republican strategist Alex DeGrasse told Breitbart News. “We need grassroots people to sign up to be trained as poll watchers to help ensure President Trump's victory. We cannot rest until we have successfully defended every legal vote.”
