ABC's The View Co-host Joy Behar said she was concerned that former President Donald Trump would put comedians like himself in prison if re-elected, and guest Wanda Sykes said, “It could really happen.'' I can’t do it,” he added.
Joy Behar expressed her narcissistic delusions on Thursday's show, asking Wanda Sykes what she thought about President Trump potentially targeting comedians like themselves.
“Well, I mean, maybe we can share a cell,” Sykes joked. Behar didn't seem to find the joke funny, glaring at Sykes and saying, “I don't think so.”
Ms Sykes added: I mean, yes. I know it's a joke, but it could actually happen. He could do it. He wants to be a dictator. ”
Behar and Sykes echoed similar comments made recently by fellow comedian Kathy Griffin.
“He's going to pick us off one by one like bowling pins. He's not kidding or paranoid,” Griffin, 63, said recently.
If he's re-elected, he's going to go after Jimmy Kimmel, Jon Stewart, all the celebrities, but he's also going to go after Rosie O'Donnell. That's all he does all day. He will hold a press conference about it. He got a lot crazier than he did the first go-round. ”
Joy Behar uses it regularly The View They have expressed hatred for Trump and his allies, even labeling Trump supporters as Nazis.
Earlier this year, Behar claimed President Trump would cancel the ABC show. The View If re-elected in November.
