NC Gov. Republican Candidate Mark Robinson Hospitalized ‘For Burns’

Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson (R-North Carolina) was taken to the hospital Friday night for “treatment of burn injuries” he sustained, his campaign confirmed to Breitbart News.

“Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson is currently being treated for burns following an incident at a campaign event in Mount Airy,” Michael Lonergan, director of communications for the Governor Mark Robinson, said in a statement. “He's fine.”

Lonergan's statement confirming Robinson's hospitalization came after multiple reports said Robinson was taken to hospital after leaving a campaign event.
