Another member of Julius Randle's family seems happy with his career change.
The three-time NBA All-Star showed off his new look wearing a Tiger Woods T-shirt. Photo posted on Instagram His mother, Carolyn Kyles, said Saturday night.
This was the first photo of Randle after Friday's blockbuster trade with the Timberwolves, in which the Knicks sent the 29-year-old big man and Donte DiVincenzo to Minnesota and acquired Karl-Anthony Towns in return.

“New chapter, new hair and beard!” Kyles wrote. “I'm proud of you Ju. @juliusrandle30 Let's go, Wolves! ”
Randle's wife, Kendra, reacted positively to the trade early Saturday, posting a five-eyed heart emoji alongside a Photoshopped photo of her husband in a Timberwolves uniform.
She also commented on his new team's expected lineup.
“Scary times: Minnesota is here,” she wrote in a subsequent post to her Instagram Stories.
The three-team trade, including the Hornets, reportedly also includes the release of Daquan Jeffries and a lottery-protected first-round pick from the Pistons.

The trade ends Randle's impressive five-year tenure in New York. This tenure includes three All-Star teams and three postseason berths for the Knicks.
Last season, Randle averaged 24.0 points, 9.2 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game through 46 games before suffering a season-ending shoulder injury in late January.
Randle was expected to be ready to join the Knicks this season, but he and the team made no progress on a potential extension, making a trade more likely. ESPN's Ramona Shelburne mentioned X.
Randle told the Post a few days earlier that Knicks fans had expressed a desire to remain with the team for the remainder of his career.
“People tell me how much I love being Knick and how much the team needs me,” Randle said. “I'm telling you to never go anywhere. To be Nick forever.”
