Your car is SPYING on you— and it’s only going to get worse

If you think your personal property is your property, you may not have read the contract you signed when you purchased it. This is especially true for cars.

Auto expert Lauren Fix is sounding the alarm, explaining that the 2021 infrastructure bill has a “kill switch law.”

“The kill switch law allowed them to listen in your car, watch your eyes, and literally track all your information,” Fix told Hilary on “Blaze News Tonight.” Kennedy and Matthew Peterson.

“So what are they doing with that information?” she continues. “We know that manufacturers are being hurt financially. Many cars are sitting on lots and as long as prices continue to rise, profit margins will continue to shrink.”

So they sell the data to things like insurance companies and police departments.

“And just recently, Ford decided to write a patent to sell all the information directly to the police so that they didn't have to enter into any kind of contract,” Fix explained, adding. It's an invasion of our privacy and it's really upsetting. ”

Americans are understandably outraged, but the problem is that very few people actually disclose this information in writing.

“The situation will get even worse because by 2026 all cars will have kill switches,” Fix said. “This lets you know if you're under the influence of something by the start/stop button.”

“Are all of this completely legal?” Peterson asks concerned.

“Well, maybe not really, but we sign those agreements,” Fix says.
