The Biden-Harris administration has steadfastly denied responsibility for the border crisis and denounced those who speak out against open border policies as simply “racists.”
Liz Wheeler of “The Liz Wheeler Show” believes this is nothing but gaslighting, but Savannah Hernandez of Turning Point USA has on-the-ground evidence that she and other conservatives are right. It's proven.
Hernandez recently visited Brunswick, Maine. What she found there was incredibly awful, to say the least.
Hernandez reported that “migrants are receiving up to two years of rent,” and even spoke to some migrants living in luxury apartments.
“Immigrants told us that they came fully furnished, so they had flat-screen TVs, sofas, tables, chairs, beds. They also told us, 'Hey, we're paying utilities here. ?” he asked. They shared with us, “No, we don't have to pay for water or electricity,'' Hernandez explained.
Not only are immigrants receiving free benefits from the government, Hernandez said, “we have a housing crisis right now, and these buildings were originally built for Maine residents.” pointed out.
“But then it was decided that homeless immigrants would live here,” she said.
Maine residents can rent an apartment in the same building Hernandez visited, but they must pay about $1,800 for a one-bedroom and $2,300 for a two-bedroom. The average home price in Brunswick is approximately $480,000.
“So when it was first discovered that immigrants were being held here for free using taxpayer dollars, there was obviously a lot of outrage,” Hernandez concluded.
Wheeler was horrified by what Hernandez found.
“Remember, if you criticize Kamala Harris' open borders policies and believe that mass immigration is harming your country, your state, your community, your neighborhood, and your family, “If you're right that you're a racist, then you're a racist according to the left,” she says.
