Filmmaker Michael Moore has urged President Joe Biden to use his final months in the White House to shift all student loan debt to American taxpayers, abolish the federal death penalty, and support Israel. It seeks to forcefully advance its far-left agenda, which includes halting all military aid. .
Michael Moore listed “Joe's bucket list” items in a blog post Saturday. This represents a change of heart for Moore, who recently urged Biden to step down from office to install Kamala Harris as commander-in-chief before the November election.
“Some people are calling you a 'lame duck' president right now, but what I realized today is that it's not over yet. You still have 100 days left in your term!” Moore said of Biden. added that the government should use the executive order to thoroughly implement its “bucket list.''
“With one or two simple strokes of your presidential pen, you can improve the lives of millions of people in ways you never imagined. You will leave the White House as a hero.” ”
High on Moore's list is canceling “all” student loans.
“Now is the time to do everything in our power to wipe out all student loans,” he wrote, adding: For your honor. ”
Biden previously tried to woo young voters disillusioned with his administration by announcing a plan to forgive $430 billion in student loans, a political move to shift that huge amount of debt to taxpayers. It's a euphemism.
Last year, the Supreme Court struck down Biden's plan as unconstitutional, saying the president lacked the power to unilaterally cancel that debt.
Moore also pressed Biden to abolish the federal death penalty.
“It was your campaign promise to end this barbarity. Commute their sentences without parole and let them live with what they have done,” he wrote.
Michael Moore wouldn't be Michael Moore if he didn't also use anti-Israel rants.
“Stop all arms shipments. Stop all military aid,” he wrote. “Demand a cease-fire. Put Bibi in the corner or in the time-out room and tell Israel to resolve the issue, come to the negotiating table, end this madness, free the hostages in Gaza, and change Israeli politics. Tell them to release the perpetrators and make a deal to stop this massacre.”
Since Biden withdrew from the presidential race in disgrace this summer with a farcically bad debate performance, Moore has fervently supported Kamala Harris, leaned heavily into identity politics, and fully embraced the anti-Israel left. I urged her.
“This country is a woman,” he wrote in a July blog post.
