Adams was seen wearing a hat with an “X” between the Mets and Yankees logos at the Columbus Day parade in Manhattan on Monday, indicating that he leans toward one side or the other. It shows that there is no.
While the mayor wants to remain objective, New Yorkers aren't too happy and took to social media to make it known.

Adams could be looking for the Subway Series, where the Mets and Yankees play in the World Series.
The Mets are currently one game behind the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NLCS, so both teams are looking to win their league championships, but the Yankees open the ALCS on Monday night when they host the Cleveland Guardians in the Bronx. Welcome.

But ask any New York sports fan and they'll tell you that no matter how much they love their city, they have to choose a team. Especially when it comes to the World Series, you don't want both the Mets and Yankees to win.
This isn't the first time a New York City mayor has troubled New Yorkers with his choice of baseball team, as Mayor Bill de Blasio was criticized for his love for the Boston Red Sox during his tenure.
If the Mets and Yankees make it to the World Series, the city will roar and be divided because everyone wants the New York team to win.
