Veteran journalist Bob Woodward told CNN's “Anderson Cooper 360” on Tuesday that Russian President Vladimir Putin is a modern-day Adolf Hitler playing former President Donald Trump.
Woodward said, “Who is Vladimir Putin? Look, Putin is the Adolf Hitler of the 20th century. What President Putin is doing in Ukraine is what he's saying, and what President Putin is saying is… And if you've read what he's written about this, Russia has a right to Ukraine, so we just accept it. That's what he's doing in the world right now. It's the biggest war going on.”
“I think back to the only debate between Harris and Trump,” Cooper said. “It's amazing how easily Harris manipulated and swayed Trump into losing completely and losing the rest of the debate. , simply saying that people were tired of his meetings.” And then he left. “Putin planned it the same way he did when he played President Trump,” Woodward said. “It's not his political opponents who are saying that about Trump. So I think we're in a very dangerous position where Trump could become president again.”
