Days after his son tragically died in a fall on October 16, Liam Payne's father visited the scene of the accident to express his condolences with fans in attendance.
Jeff Payne arrived at Argentina's Casasul Palermo Hotel on Friday to look over cards, speak to fans and take part in a moment of silence for the late One Direction singer who died after falling from a hotel balcony, according to the BBC. He took the time to do so. Wednesday.
As Jeff entered the hotel, fans tried to protect his mourning father from paparazzi trying to take pictures, the BBC reported.

in a shared post on instagram On Saturday, Liam's sister Ruth Gibbins paid tribute to her late brother.
“I can't believe this is happening,” she began her post. “While I've proudly spoken my heart out publicly about Liam many times, I haven't talked much about my life as his sister. Liam is my best friend and no one makes me laugh as much as he does. There were no people and I always winced when I talked about my impressions of him. He loved seeing how funny he was.”

“He left home at the age of 17 to pursue his dreams, which led me to finally pass my driving test in 2019. X factor I couldn't bear the thought of not being able to see him again, so I kept doing live shows for weeks,” she added.
“After work, I would regularly go to have tea with him in the car, and we would just sit there.One month, the hotel was just selfish, and he was there morning, noon, and night. I swear I enjoyed it. I loved picking him up from work.” Once it all started, I noticed right away from the venue and the appearances, especially after the concert, and Liam showed me the new songs from the album. We connected the phone and he loved 1D and loved his brother and we talked about it a lot. We sat down and put on a mini 1D concert, playing song after song that had been recorded but never used.

“Liam knew he could call me anytime, any day, and I would pick him up, or if he wanted to go home, I would pick him up,” she added. “Our calls often involved laughing about his ideas and next adventures, discussing his plans, and dealing with problems, but always with an 'I love you' or 'I love you.' It’s over.”

Mr Gibbons said Mr Payne was born with “music in his blood” and was destined to become a “star”.
“I could sit and listen to him sing all day long. It was a really good job because he never stopped! I never get tired of the look on his face when he performs new songs. Hear me out loud,' and just drive along. I'm proud of my work,” she added. “I keep a note on my phone of things I want to tell Liam, so when he's away for a while on business, I know what I need to update him on. Now. Gibbons said she is struggling to grasp the reality of what happened.

“I don't think this job was good enough or kind enough for you. Over the last few years, you've often had to try really hard to overcome everything that's thrown at you.” she continued. “You just wanted to be loved with your music and make people happy. You never believed you were good enough. This outpouring of love you didn't receive in your time. I hope you can see it now.
“Thank you for changing my life, thank you for the wonderful memories, thank you for being the best brother and friend I have ever had! [Payne’s son] Bear and he always knows how great his father is and how much you adore him. I'm sorry I couldn't save you. I love you, oh I miss you so much. One last time, I want you to know that if you need anything, I'm here. I'll drive to the edge of the universe to bring you back. ”

Payne died Wednesday. He fell from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was 31 years old.
According to the 16th Bureau of the National Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor's Office, where he was temporarily acting as head, Payne's cause of death was “a fall from the balcony of the third-floor hotel room where he was staying in Buenos Aires, near Palermo.'' Written by Marcelo Roma.
The autopsy report said Payne died of “multiple trauma” and “internal and external bleeding.”

The report says the circumstances surrounding Payne's death are still under investigation as “suspicious”, but it appears Payne was alone at the time of the fall and the musician was “experiencing some type of outbreak due to substance abuse.”
