Two Christian Activists Urge Followers of Jesus to Act as Influencers in American Politics

Two Christian activists on both sides of the political spectrum say they encourage the body of Christ to become more politically engaged and believe that restoring civility to political discourse will help America. Ruth argued that Christians have a “significant opportunity” to effect change, warning that “American politics is not very clear at the moment.”

“There's a lot of mixed voices out there,” he said. “No one knows which sources to trust. If Christians stand up as knowledgeable and civil people, we can begin to have a greater influence on American politics.”
