Boeing looks to sell space business: report

Aerospace giant Boeing is reportedly considering selling part of its space business as it looks at ways to streamline its operations.

New company CEO Kelly OrtbergHe, who started in the role in August, said on Wednesday's quarterly conference call with analysts that he wants Boeing to reduce the number of programs in its portfolio.

“It's better to do less and do better than to do a lot and do it poorly,” Ortberg said on the conference call, without specifically mentioning Boeing's space division.
