Five people were killed when a small jet crashed into a vehicle after taking off from an airport near Phoenix on Tuesday afternoon, police said.
A Honda HA-420 small business jet crashed while taking off from Falcon Field Airport in Mesa, local police said.
The jet crashed into a vehicle outside the airport grounds at 4:40 p.m., the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said.
Video footage showed the remains of the small plane burst into flames as firefighters worked to extinguish the fire.
