Israeli airstrikes on Sunday killed dozens of people, including at least 20 children, in northern Gaza and Lebanon, health officials said.

In northern Gaza, an Israeli airstrike landed on a house sheltering displaced people in the Jabaliya camp, killing at least 17 people, including nine women, said Fadel Naim, director of Gaza City's al-Ahly Hospital. said.
The Israeli military said it was targeting locations where extremists operate, but provided no evidence. Details of both airstrikes are being worked out, the Associated Press reported.
Another airstrike in Gaza City killed Hamas government minister Wael al-Khuhor, his wife and three children, government civil defense officials said, according to the Associated Press.
The strike comes as the world focuses on both the results of the U.S. presidential election and President-elect Trump's conversations with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
According to the prime minister, President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu have spoken by phone three times since election day.
