Fetterman Calls Rubio ‘Strong Choice’ as Trump Considers Him for Post

Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pennsylvania) has weighed in on reports suggesting that President-elect Donald Trump will choose Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) to serve as secretary of state in his administration.

Rubio has been a U.S. senator since 2010 and is known as a hawk on China and Iran. He serves on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, the Senate Intelligence Committee, and co-chairs the bipartisan Congressional Executive Committee on China. He is also an ardent supporter of Israel.
