New York Judge Juan Marchand has deferred a decision on whether to uphold or dismiss the conviction of President-elect Donald Trump. Machan was scheduled to issue a ruling on Tuesday, but agreed to freeze the case until Nov. 19.
In the New York case, Trump was found guilty by a jury of all 34 counts of falsifying business records. His sentencing is scheduled for November 26th.

Trump's lawyers argued that the case and conviction should be thrown out based on the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling on presidential immunity.
“The suspension and removal are necessary to avoid an unconstitutional impediment to President Trump's ability to govern,” Trump's attorney Emil Bove said in a court filing.
Prosecutor Matthew Colangelo agreed to the stay, saying “this is an unprecedented situation” and that the defense's arguments “require careful consideration.”
Trump campaign spokesperson Stephen Chan said He said President Trump's victory last week was an “overwhelming mission to make America great again.”
“As President Trump said in his historic victory speech, we will immediately end the weaponization of our justice system, including this case, which should never have been brought, so that we can unite our country and work together. It is now abundantly clear that the American people want us to work together for the betterment of our country,'' Cheung said.
Reacting to Marchand's decision to delay sentencing, George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley told Fox News, “The Trump team was successful in getting this delay. What they don't want is… It's an indefinite status. They just don't want this.” Please linger. ”
He explained that Trump's lawyers “will argue next week that it's time for the judge to recognize reality and dismiss this case.”
Other pending lawsuits against Trump are also being dismantled following his election.
Special Counsel Jack Smith, who was tasked with overseeing two federal cases against Mr. Trump, later asked that all deadlines be struck in one of them. A federal judge had previously dismissed Smith's other federal lawsuits. Georgia's criminal case against Trump has been heard in an appeals court.
But despite the election results, New York Attorney General Letitia James has vowed to continue her case against Trump.
