‘Dude!’ Oft-Concussed Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa Sparks Social Media Hysteria After Using His Head to Make a Tackle

Dolphins star QB Tua Tagovailoa sent social media users into a frenzy on Monday night after he tackled a defender and used his head during an interception return, often resulting in a concussion.

That moment came with about 10 minutes left in the second quarter when Rams linebacker Christian Rosenboom scored on Tagovailoa. As the Rams linebacker ran up the sideline, Tagovailoa dove headfirst into Rosenbue's legs and delivered a knee to the head.

Tagovailoa was tested for concussion and passed. But after he recklessly stood up for himself on Rozeboom, X users vented their shock and frustration at the young quarterback.

However, things could easily turn out differently. Tagovailoa claimed he has no intention of retiring as he has suffered at least three concussions as a pro.

“If I was told I couldn't play, I definitely would have considered it, but there was no talk of that,” he said. said ESPN. “I never thought about retiring.”

Tagovailoa had one of his best games of the year, completing 20 of 28 for 207 yards, one touchdown and one pick.
