President-elect Donald Trump announced Thursday that he has nominated Robert F. Kennedy to be the next U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services.

Mr. Kennedy is the nephew of former Democratic President John F. Kennedy and ran as an independent candidate in this presidential election, but canceled his candidacy in August and supported Mr. Trump.
