Conspiracy theorists known as “Blue Anon” are tightening the grip on the Democratic Party following President-elect Donald Trump's landslide victory over Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 election.
Supporters of Harris, who deny the results of the 2024 presidential election, have begun spreading conspiracy theories online.
Data from research firm Peak Metrics revealed that there was a “surge” in posts on X on the morning of November 6th, questioning the 2024 election results and calling for a recount. report Written by Wired.
“Trump cheating” started trending on X after the 45th president and soon-to-be 47th president won landslide victories, NewsGuard CEO Gordon Crovitz told the outlet, adding, “Since midnight, “Trump cheating” has started trending on X. There were 92,100 mentions of “Trump misconduct.''
“How did we achieve record turnout nationally and save 20 million votes?” author John Pavlovitz wrote in a post on November 6, 2017. It has been viewed 9.2 million times at the time of writing.
Pavlovitz based this claim on misleading statistics based on vote tallies from a time when many precincts in large blue West Coast states had not yet been counted. As of this writing, Harris has received just 8 million fewer votes than Biden in 2020, and still has more votes in California and Oregon.
Harris' supporters also attacked Trump's first assassination attempt at a July 13 rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, an iconic moment that forever immortalized Trump in American history. has baselessly claimed that it was a “false flag.”
“Since when did the Secret Service, under duress by the president, command 'wait' and then stand up and allow the crowd to fist pump? Can you blame me for thinking this is fake? ” one Blue Anon conspiracy theorist asked in a July 13 X post that garnered 2.2 million views.
“Things like that had to be staged,” says another conspiracy theorist. commented This was in response to President Trump being shot in the ear on July 13th and narrowly dying in an assassination attempt.
While Blue Anon conspiracy theorists claim the assassination attempt was a hoax, others are pinning these comments on the former Pennsylvanian who tragically lost his life during President Trump's ill-fated July 13 rally in Butler. Some may see it as a direct insult to Fire Chief Corey Comperatore.
Another bizarre Blue Anon conspiracy theory circulating online involves Elon Musk using the satellite internet service Starlink to add more votes in favor of Trump to digital tabulation machines. It contains a crazy claim.
“Raise your hand if you think Elon Musk’s Starlink is the ‘little secret’ that will win or steal this election,” one left-wing conspiracy theorist wrote in a Nov. 10 X post. “Please share this everywhere. #Trump did a #recount2024.”
Another Blue Anon conspiracy theorist claimed in a rambling X rant that conservatives were accusing liberals of doing “what they're doing.”
“President Biden, the urge to 'show that Democrats are above conspiracy theories' may be exactly the move you were expecting. This could cost the country,” User X shouted.
“They accuse [us] About what they are doing,” user X added. “Starlink has been connected to the voting booth. Do your job! #Recount2024 #TrumpFooled.”
Another left-wing conspiracy theorist speaks out on X's post, which received 3.5 million views. I wrote“More than 700 Starlink satellites were removed from orbit, and 13.7 million votes were lost. Millions of people received messages that their votes were not counted.”
“The votes in Virginia, New Jersey, New York, Florida, Arizona, Nevada, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania are skewed, but Mr. Trump's vote numbers have not increased, and Mr. Harris's The number of votes is low,” user X added.
Meanwhile, Musk trolled Blue Anon conspiracy theorists in an X post on Wednesday, sharing a meme featuring a person with the Democratic Party logo on their forehead and saying, “Look at me. I'm an election denier now.'' .”
