Fan caught on mic giving Joe Schoen a Daniel Jones earful

The struggles of New York's quarterback, or rather, its quarterback, have been well-documented. So are the complaints of his critics.

Giants general manager Joe Schon apparently heard from a Big Blue supporter Saturday while watching Saturday's game between the Colorado Buffaloes and Utah.

“Get rid of Daniel Jones,” a fan can be heard shouting in the background of the video posted by X. fox college football.

The post features Buffaloes two-way cornerback and wide receiver Travis Hunter, a Heisman prospect and projected top-three pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, but dissatisfied fans , you can rest assured that Shane will be in attendance to scout the Colorado signal-caller. In the same way.

There's a lot to like about Shedule Sanders. He is the son of NFL/MLB legend Deion Sanders, the top quarterback in the 2025 class, and a Heisman hopeful himself.

At 6-foot-2 and 215 pounds, Sanders has all the makings of a franchise quarterback. He has pinpoint accuracy, good hands, play-extending mobility, and all the grit, determination and resilience you'd expect from Sanders' son. The only athlete in history to play in both the Super Bowl and the World Series.

So far in his senior campaign at Colorado in 2024, Sanders' performance has been nothing short of impressive: 72.9 percent passing completion, nearly 2,900 passing yards, 28 all-purpose touchdowns (just 6 interceptions) times), passer rating of 163.1.

In addition to his on-field talent, Sanders will definitely bring a bright spot to the Giants, but they won't be the only team competing for him.

All signs point to Schoen and company pursuing Jones' successor in the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft, even if it isn't Sanders.

Jones, 27, who is currently in his sixth season leading the franchise, has been disappointing in almost every aspect of his game this season. He threw eight touchdowns, seven interceptions, completed less than 64 percent of his passes, and amassed a dizzying QBR of 46.5.

The incumbent signal-caller signed a four-year, $160 million contract extension about a year and a half ago, but that contract has not yet expired.

With the Giants at 2-8 with a chance to land the top pick in the next class, Jones' dismal performance forced Schoen to pull the plug.

Understandably, coach Deion Sanders isn't going to send his son, or Hunter for that matter, to a franchise he doesn't want, but it's unclear if East Rutherford is on the list.
