Donald Trump Jr. mocks ‘Morning Joe’ co-hosts visiting his dad at Mar-a-Lago to make amends

Donald Trump Jr. mocked MSNBC's Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski for insinuating that he was the new Adolf Hitler shortly after meeting his father, President-elect Donald Trump.

When Newsmax's Rob Finnerty pointed out on Thursday that “Two weeks ago they were calling him Hitler and now he's traveling to Florida to meet with Hitler,” Don Jr. He joined those who accused the “Morning Joe” duo of hypocrisy.

“Yeah, I can't believe it,” Don Jr. replied. “I mean, I'm not going to go see Hitler, but that's just me. Maybe that was nonsense all along.”

Newsmax's Rob Finnerty asked Don. Why did Junior choose to meet with his father after his “Morning Joe” co-host previously compared him to Hitler?

He praised his father for meeting with TV hosts and said his father's willingness to listen to even his fiercest critics showed his desire to represent everyone.

“My father always wants to hear from everyone. He doesn't just lead MAGA America, he leads America for all Americans,” he said.

Don Jr. suggested that although MSNBC has become more of a propaganda station than a news organization, his father's generous approach to leadership has remained consistent.

Mr. Scarborough and Mr. Brzezinski have faced widespread criticism and ridicule for meeting with the president-elect clearly aware that they were on the losing side.

Even “The Daily Show” host Jon Stewart was among those who laughed at their hypocrisy.

On Monday night's show, Stewart responded to footage of Brzezinski asking his critics, “Why don't you talk to Trump?”: “Well, because you said he's Hitler.”

Don Jr.'s comments were a direct criticism of the media networks, saying, “It's great to bring common sense back to Washington.”
