President-elect Donald Trump has doubled down on his promise of mass deportations, announcing plans to deploy the U.S. military to carry out the largest deportation operation in U.S. history.
In a recent post on Truth Social, President Trump declared a national emergency and acknowledged plans to deploy military assets to help remove millions of illegal immigrants. And incoming border czar Tom Homan completely agrees.
“When it comes to deportation operations, we prioritize those because they pose the greatest public safety and national security threat. They pose the greatest danger to the United States,” Homan said in a recent Fox News interview. He spoke at
Homan went on to describe the deportation operation as “immediate” and a “priority.”
“Second, secure the border, close the border, catch and release, secure the border,” he continued, adding, “We have over 300,000 missing children.” he added.
Homan claimed these children were released by the Biden administration.
“Some of these children are engaged in forced labor; some are already in forced labor, some are engaged in forced sex trafficking, some are living with pedophiles. We have to save these children,” he added.
Pat Gray of Pat Gray Unleashed is excited about Homan's appointment, but notes that “liberal politicians have promised not to cooperate.”
One such politician is Boston Mayor Michelle Wu.
“Elections have consequences. The federal government is responsible for its actions and cities,” Wu said in a recent interview.
“Individual cities can't overturn or nullify any part of that, but what we can do is make sure we do our part to protect our residents in every way possible and actually protect our residents. “It's about making sure we're not cooperating with efforts that threaten our safety,” she continued, “by causing widespread fear and having massive economic consequences that affected everyone.”
The police chief in Los Angeles, California, also reportedly said he would not participate in the deportation.
“We will continue to support illegal activity in this country,” Gray said, adding: “Your family should be proud.”
