The comments came after Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragushi vowed earlier this week that Iran would retaliate against Israel for the strategic airstrike on Tehran on October 26. “We have not waived our right to react,” he was quoted as saying. “I advise him not to challenge us. We have already shown our capabilities. We have proven that they are vulnerable. We can actually target any location in Iran. They know that,” Danone told Fox News Digital.

Danon said he believes one of the most important issues for the incoming Trump administration is how the United States deals with Iran.
“I think the most important challenge for the new administration is how to counter Iran, aggression, the threat of the Iranian regime. I think the United States has to return to a leading position on this issue.” . he told FOX News Digital.
“We're fighting the same enemy, the enemy of the United States of America. If you look at the Iranians, the Houthis, Hezbollah, Hamas, the bad guys coming towards Israel… that's America's enemy.” I think Americans should support us and understand what we're doing,” Danone said.

Danon spoke Wednesday as the United States vetoed a resolution against Israel at the United Nations Security Council.
The resolution, supervised by Algeria, called for Israel to impose an “immediate, unconditional and permanent ceasefire.” The resolution did not guarantee the release of hostages still held by Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

“This was a shameful resolution because … there was no connection between the ceasefire and the call.” [for] release of hostages.
