Matty Healy got into an online spat after Azealia Banks dissed bandmate George Daniel's fiance Charli XCX.
However, the 1975 frontman took things a little too far when he threatened to physically assault the rapper.
Banks, 33, started the feud with Write via X On Tuesday, it read in part: “Charlie used to be so pretty,” to which Ms Healy, 35, replied: “Azealia, it seems like you have a blind spot when it comes to 'reading'.”
He continued, “The women you attack are all culturally relevant, attractive, divisive, and seem like nice people. You're so talented. , I think this makes you jealous because everything else about you is failing. Just rap.”

Shortly after, Mr. Healy expressed regret for his comments and deleted the critical post.
