Venezuela national and Tren de Aragua gang member arrested in Trump’s backyard

A Venezuelan suspected member of the Torren de Aragua gang was arrested in President-elect Trump's backyard in Palm Beach, Florida, according to a senior official with the United States Border Patrol (USBP).

Jeffrey Denise, Chief Patrol Agent for the USBP Miami Division, announced the arrest in a social media post on Tuesday.

“U.S. Border Patrol agents arrested a Venezuelan national identified as a Torren de Aragua gang member,” Diniz wrote to X. “He has a prior conviction for assault with a deadly weapon. Our members continue to keep our community safe.”
