A teenage student and a substitute teacher killed in a shooting at a Christian school in Madison, Wisconsin, on Monday have been identified, and new details have emerged about the alleged shooter.
The Dane County Coroner's Office shared a report with Fox News Digital late Wednesday, saying the victims killed in the shooting at Abundant Life Christian School were 14-year-old student Rubi Patricia Vergara and 42-year-old teacher. She was identified as Erin M. West. .
The report said both West, of DeForest, and Vergara, of Madison, were pronounced dead at the scene, and preliminary examination results determined that both died of “homicidal firearm-related trauma.”
The report also identified the shooting suspect as 15-year-old Natalie “Samantha” L. Lupnow, who was also pronounced dead at the scene from “firearm-related trauma.”

The coroner said further tests were still underway at this time.
“These deaths remain under investigation by the Madison Police Department and the Dane County Coroner's Office. No further information will be released at this time,” the report states.
Vergara was a freshman at Abundant Life Christian School and was “an avid reader and art lover who sang and played keyboard in her family's worship band,” according to her obituary.
Vergara's aunt told Fox News Digital that it has been a “very difficult week” for the family, who are trying to get through their niece's funeral, which is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday in Madison.
Madison Police Department confirmed to FOX News Digital that two guns were recovered from the school after the shooting. However, only one gun was allegedly used by Lupnow.

“Determining a motive is our top priority,” Madison Police Chief Shon Burns said at a news conference Tuesday afternoon. He said the motive appeared to be a combination of factors, but did not elaborate further..
“Every child in that building, every person, is a victim and will forever be a victim. We are trying to figure out and piece together what exactly happened. There is a need,” Burns said.
The police Burns said he spoke with Rapnow's father and other family members who were assisting him, and was searching Rapnow's home. He declined to provide further details about the shooter, out of concern for his family.

“He lost someone, too,” Burns said of Rapnow's father. “So we're not going to rush the information. We're going to take our time and make sure we do our due diligence.”
Burns added that two students suffered life-threatening injuries and remain in critical condition. The teacher and three other students were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Burns said two of them have since been released.
James and Rebecca Smith, whose 17-year-old daughter is a student at Abundant Life Christian School, told Fox News they knew the victims and all of their families.
The Smiths said their daughter was not in the same class as the alleged shooter Rapnow and did not know her well, but Rapnow was new to the school and enrolled this semester.
They added that their daughter and her group of friends said they had never seen Rapnow speak to anyone at school.

Rebecca Smith said the slain teacher had a daughter who participated in sports with the Smiths' daughter and always talked to her mother during games.
She added that the victim was a long-term substitute teacher at the school and only became a full-time teacher this year.
