NBA referee Jenna Schroder had to correct a mistake in a bizarre situation during Monday night's game between the Philadelphia 76ers and the San Antonio Spurs.
Early in the second quarter, 76ers center Andre Drummond was ejected for a foul on Spurs star Victor Wembaneyama. However, a video replay of the incident forced the referees to reverse the ejection and allow Drummond to return to the game, even though he had already left the floor.

Schroder was heard telling 76ers head coach Nick Nurse, “I'm done with it.” Drummond was cleared to return to play.
Warning: explicit language
Instead of Drummond receiving a technical foul, Wenbanyama received a technical foul on the flop. Sixers guard Tyrese Maxey hit a technical free throw, but the referee called off the technical foul and gave him the point.
Crew chief Curtis Blair said tests showed Drummond stepped on Wenbanyama's foot and it was ruled an accidental contact.

The 7-foot Spurs player said the foul shouldn't have happened on that play.
“I just stepped on it and fell,” he said. “That's it. I just tripped. I didn't mean to fall. I didn't expect a foul to be called. I just fell.”
Nurses also reacted to the incident.
“Everything was really weird,” he said.
Sixers star Joel Embiid was also ejected from the game after receiving two technical fouls for unsportsmanlike conduct. At one point, he was seen lunging at Schroder and had to be restrained.
