Intel. Sharing Among Agencies Has Gotten Worse, FBI Doesn’t Act Quickly Enough

On Wednesday's broadcast of Newsmax TV's “Finnerty,” incoming special envoy Richard Grenell, who served as acting director of national intelligence during the first Trump administration, discussed the terrorist attack in New Orleans and discussed the issue of intelligence sharing between government agencies. It was argued that lack was the cause. It was recognized as a problem after September 11th, but it's still a problem and it's getting worse. The FBI is having trouble finding information, but they're not responding quickly enough.

Grenell said, “One of the things that happened after 9/11 was we did this massive report, put out this belief, and changed our bureaucracy, because our… Because the intelligence agencies had the information, and the intelligence agencies didn't communicate.''So I think this problem still exists and is a growing problem. We need to get to the bottom of what the FBI knew, what our nation's intelligence agencies knew, and what they failed to do to take action. ”

Afterwards, he said, “The FBI is finding information and needs to reform.” They just aren't acting fast enough on this information. ”
