‘Power Rangers’ actor Hector David Rivera sentenced to 180 days in prison after assaulting elderly man — but won’t serve full sentence

A “Power Rangers” actor will serve 45 days in prison after being found guilty of a horrific assault on an elderly man who was using a walker.

Hector David Rivera, best known for his role as the Green Power Ranger on the series, was sentenced Wednesday after pleading guilty to one misdemeanor charge for the violent incident that was caught on camera in Nampa, Idaho, in July. 2024.

Canyon County Court Judge Matthew B. Shellstraight reportedly suspended the actor's sentence for 135 days, requiring him to serve only 45 days as long as he stays out of trouble upon release.

Rivera was also ordered to two years of supervised probation and required to complete 100 hours of community service.
