‘Tens of Millions of Americans’ Will Say ‘Trump Is Not My President’ on Inauguration Day

On MSNBC's “Deadline” on Tuesday, network contributor and former Republican congressman David Jolly said “tens of millions of Americans” will say “Donald Trump is not my president” on Inauguration Day. He said he would.

“I think for a lot of Americans, it's going to put the next four years into perspective, and you can incorporate the Jack Smith report into that. Donald Trump made a big lie premise,” Jolly said. I realized that,” he said. He invited people to D.C. and sent them to the Capitol. He is guilty in the hearts of millions of Americans. He is not eligible for cabinet selection. Donald Trump will be a danger to national security. Inauguration Day is next week, and I don't think what we saw among Democratic activists in November is defeat, I think it's just fatigue, seeing as Democratic senators are trying to resist. I think we're going to have a tough time with this question and the statement that Donald Trump is not my president. I know that raises difficult patriotic questions. ”

“What I am saying is that Donald Trump is a man who has broken his oath to us. Why should he expect our oath to be given to him when we are watching him plot? Will we see this in writing today in Jack Smith's report? We'll see this in the U.S. Senate today. There will be tens of millions of Americans sitting down. It's a difficult conversation, but I think it's going to be an important conversation for the next four years.”

Jolie added, “This idea that Donald Trump is not president sounded unpatriotic eight years ago, but I don't think it will sound unpatriotic to many people next week.” Ta.
