Snoop Dogg, Rick Ross Attend Pre-Inauguration Crypto Ball — Both Fantasized About Killing Trump

Rappers Snoop Dogg and Rick Ross appeared at the pre-Inauguration Crypto Ball on Friday. Snoop hinted at a change of heart after Snoop fantasized about killing President-elect Donald Trump in his music and even pretended to pull a gun on him. The then president appears in the music video.

According to multiple reports, Snoop Dogg headlined a pro-Trump Crypto Ball event at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium in Washington, D.C., with House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-Louisiana) in attendance. Other rappers such as Rick Ross and Soulja Boy also attended.

Video footage from the party has gone viral, showing Snoop Dogg taking to the stage to perform a set in front of a tuxedo-clad audience.

Snoop Dogg vehemently opposed Trump during his first term in the White House.

In 2017, the rapper appeared in a politically charged music video for his single “Lavender,” in which he was seen pulling a gun and “shooting” a parody clown version of then-President Donald Trump.

Rick Ross also fantasized about Trump's death.

In the music video for the single “Free Enterprise,” released in 2016, Ross sings, “Assassinate Trump like I did Zimmerman/Now accept these words as they came from Eminem.” he rapped. The lyrics appear to be a reference to George Zimmerman, who shot and killed Florida teenager Trayvon Martin in 2012.

Rapper Soulja Boy has publicly opposed President Trump, attacking fellow rapper Kanye West in a 2019 radio interview when he questioned his support for the then-president with a profane rant.

“You support Trump, right? What the hell is wrong with you? That's not right, well,” Soulja Boy exploded breakfast club.

Snoop Dogg hinted at a change of heart about Trump a year ago during a conversation with Britain Sunday Times.

“Donald Trump? He hasn't done anything wrong to me. He's done nothing but great things for me. He pardoned Michael Harris,” he told the outlet. He later added, “That's why I have nothing but love and respect for Donald Trump.”

Friday's Crypto Ball was a private four-hour event with tickets priced at $2,500 and $5,000, a source reported. report From Coin Desk.
