Sen. Tim Scott (R-South Carolina) released a video highlighting how President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration will mean “the rebirth of America.”
in videoScott talks about how America's security, economy, education, and “national spirit” make it “time for American renewal.” Scott added that only Trump can make his vision of America's recovery a reality, and that “the great American recovery begins today.”
“What is victory? When we rise up against the odds. When we show the world how strong America is,” Scott said in the video. “When your resilience sends a message. A message so powerful it roars. It's time for American renewal. Renewal of our security, economy, energy, education, and national spirit. ”:
“We are more than just the great old party of the past,” Scott added. “We are the Party of Great Opportunities, the future of America. Only Donald Trump can make that vision a reality. America's Great Renewal begins today.”
Scott's video was released the day before President Trump's inauguration. As Breitbart News previously reported, President Trump's inauguration will be moved indoors and held in the Capitol Rotunda “due to expected subzero temperatures.”
Recent CBS News public opinion polla poll conducted January 15-17 found that 60% of Americans are optimistic about the next four years under the Trump administration, while 40% are pessimistic.
When asked about the current situation in the United States, 6% said it was “very good,” 29% said it was “somewhat good,” 39% said it was “somewhat bad,” and 26% said it was “very bad.” ”
The poll surveyed approximately 2,174 American adults.
