Donald Trump, Melania spotted for first time ahead of second Inauguration
President-elect Donald Trump made his first public appearance Monday as he began his inauguration celebrations with a prayer service at St. John's Episcopal Church.
The soon-to-be 47th president emerged from his official presidential residence, Blair House, just after 8:30 a.m. before heading to church in a motorcade.
The next commander-in-chief attended the service in Lafayette Square with his wife, Melania Trump, in attendance.

He was seen smiling and raising his fist as he arrived at the church.
After the service, the Trumps will meet with President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden at the White House for the customary tea reception.

The pair and their spouses will then travel in a joint motorcade to the Capitol before being sworn in at noon.
