Texas teacher invites ICE to raid his Fort Worth school

A substitute teacher in Texas has been criticized for a school forced investigation of the immigration tax executive (ICE) staff because the students cannot speak English.

The Fortwearth Independent School Authority has begun an investigation following a substitute teacher reply to the ICE post on the social media that conveys the latest information on the arrest on January 23.

Although the teacher was not published, he had the X user name@Hookem232 and called the agent to “come to Northside High School in Fortworth, Texas.” According to Dallas Morning News.

Texas has been investigated on suspicion that ICE staff will come to school.

“There are a lot of students who can't even speak English, but they are in the 10th to 11th graders. They need to communicate with me through the translator of the iPhone. [U.S. Department of Education] In Texas, the school system should be fully reviewed. ”

Roxane Martinez, Chairman of the Board of Education, tried to reassure parents whether ICE targets the school district.

“We are very relieved to take this situation very seriously and work hard to solve it as soon as possible,” she said.

Two -thirds of students at Fortworth's public schools are hispanic, and more than one in three students learns English as the second language.

On the other hand, the authorities did not disclose the name of the agent who posted, but said that the instructor did not give classes while the post was investigated.

The provisional superintendent of education, Karen Morinner, also sent a message saying “to support all families.”

The school district is investigating posts to social media.

The post to the social media was submitted by President Trump to allow ICE activities in “sensitive areas,” including schools and churches.

In 2019, Georgia Clark, an English teacher of Fortwearth Riverside High School, posted it to X several times on Twitter and asked Trump to cooperate with the school of “illegal students from Mexico” from the school.

“Mr., is full of illegal students from Fortworth's Independent School District and Mexico,” said her tweet. “Carter Riverside High School was taken over by them.”

Mr. Clark said in another message that he did not know what to do to deal with the problem, and listed two contacts. She said that the previous attempt to “eliminate illegal residents” was rejected by Fortworth's local and federal authorities.

“I contacted the Texas Education Agency and then contacted my teacher,” says Clark. “Texas people do not protect the whistleblower.” [sic]。 The Mexican people refused to respect our flag. “

Clark later told the district authorities that the message was private and thought that he would not be open to the public. She was initially given paid leave before the school district resolved her dismissal.
