Daytime TV icon turned network boss Dr. Phil McGraw infiltrated Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in Chicago conducting “targeted operations” to enforce immigration laws.

“Some of these people have been arrested and prosecuted 12, 15 times. Some have been convicted in their homeland or here, but they are still on the streets,” he said. . “And these are the kinds of people that ICE is trying to pull out of these communities. We can't just clean up neighborhoods and grab people who are sunburned or who don't look like they belong here. Go after a specific target. Everyone belongs here.”
In a subsequent video, Dr. Phil pointed out that sanctuary city policies make it more dangerous for ICE agents to perform their jobs by releasing undocumented immigrants who commit crimes onto the streets instead of taking them to prison.
“If these people are in custody, and ICE officers can come to the jail and arrest them there and put them on the path to deportation, they can do that in complete safety at that point.” said Dr. Phil.
“This is a controlled environment.
