IRS states that most refunds will be sent within 21 days after receiving the tax return, but not for those who request additional child tax deduction or income tax deduction. This is because the protection of Americans from tax payment (PATH) does not allow IRS to refund to those who have claimed any of these credits by mid -February.

IRS continued to say that most early EITC/ACTC Filers will start updating their status. Where is the refund tool? By February 22nd. Most EITC/ACTC -related refunds are expected to be in a taxpayer's bank account or debit card by March 3. However, IRS chooses taxpayers to receive money through deposits, and there is no other problem in return.

Some returns may require additional reviews or additional information. This will be delayed that refund will be paid. IRS states that taxpayers who need additional information will be contacted before revenue is processed.

Prior to the deadline on April 15, an estimated 140 million returns will be submitted this year.
