Netanyahu praises Trump's as Israel's 'greatest friend' to ever be president

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised President Trump in comments on Saturday, calling him “the biggest friend Israel has ever had in the White House.”

“Israel currently does not have better American friends under President Trump's leadership, and America does not have as big a friend as Israel,” Netanyahu said on Fox News' Life, Liberty & Levin.

Netanyahu, who was in Washington for a state visit, permanently outside of war-torn territory, allowing the United States to take “ownership” of the region praised resettlement in.

Trump's brave proposal came Tuesday. He attended a press conference with Netanyahu at the White House.

“President Trump's proposal is the first fresh idea in years and could change everything about Gaza,” Netanyahu said. “If not, we can continue to go back to the same thing over and over again. The same old, the same old.”

In response to a question by host Mark Levin, Netanyahu showed that pre-election polls that showed Trump was unpopular were “fake” and said, “it was a fake Israeli poll. It's something you have.”

Netanyahu also told the host that he gave Trump a gold-plated pager, which he mentioned, “Because I know he likes the initiative,” a reference to Israel's sophisticated September military operation.

“He likes surprises. He likes to surprise the world,” continued the Israeli Prime Minister. “Well, we will surprise the world and certainly surprise our enemies.”

Netanyahu further stated that his plan was to “destroy Hamas” and that “there is a wide-ranging agreement on this.”

“I saw it not just on the Republican side, but on Capitol Hill, and I was happy to see it,” he added.
