Brian Coberger's legal defense team, a 29-year-old suspect in the Idaho murder case, is free to walk despite suggesting he is guilty. It unveiled new evidence that it is sexual.

Two unidentified male blood samples, one on the railing and the other on the railing, were recovered by investigators after the murder, according to the defense. Neither sample matches Coburger.

At last month's hearing, defense attorney Anne Taylor made a comment to Adda County Judge Stephen Hippler, who suggested that these “new DNA matches” revelations could prove that they weren't involved in the murders after all. I did.

“It was interesting information,” said Boise-based lawyer Edwina Elcox. Fox News Digital. “I think defense is trying to raise the issue and then get the water covered in mud.”

The suspect is currently awaiting trial for multiple numbers of first-degree murder and felony robbery in connection with the deaths of four Idaho students who were killed in the same home the same night. The victims were identified as Kaylee Goncalves, 21, Madison Mogen, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, and Ethan Chapin, age 20.

According to the affidavit of probable causes, investigators use evidence of DNA remaining in the knife sheath, which was left in the scene in the same bed where Morgen and Gonkalb are dead, to kill him. I tied it together.

“But his DNA is still on the knife sheath,” Hippler reminded Taylor in court. “That's the problem, advise.”

By omitting details about other unidentified blood, Taylor allegedly claimed that detectives misinterpreted Rata County Magistrate Judge Megan Marshall in their probable cause affidavit. Hippler highlighted the relationship between the suspect and the DNA found under Morgen's body.

“Even if we do reveal it, if there is a DNA match between Sheath and Mr. Coberger's DNA, why not rule out the discovery of a possible cause?” asked Hippler. “Isn't that the cause twice every day, on Sunday?”

Taylor responded immediately, claiming that “not in this context.”

In her pretrial move, she was attacking the FBI's investigative genetic work.

“What does she mean by knife sheath in the scene?” Taylor asked. “That would be the ultimate problem.”

“If you're killed with a knife, that probably means a lot,” replied Hippler. “The possible cause is not evidence that exceeds the standard of reasonable doubt. It is a possible cause that you think this person may have done, and then to the sheath located in or near one of the victims. I don't know if that direct DNA connection has closed anything about possible causes after that.”

After the hearing, Hippler said he has not yet decided whether the defendant will receive a “Franks' hearing,” a court case that challenges the validity of the search warrant. This allows the Kohberger team to attack the warrant in court.

If Kohberger is convicted of murder, he could still face the death penalty.
