Florida man accused luring young girls to home using pet ferrets

A Florida man faces accusations after being told he touched a young girl he had seduced into his house with a promise to pet his ferret.

Robert Alan Rouse, 36, of Clearwater, is charged with two counts of indecency and lewd abuse, including indecency of a victim under the age of 12, according to Pinellas County Court records filed by Clearwater police.

After she entered the house, the girl told police that Rouse grabbed her behind her, picked her up and threw her into his bed, according to the affidavit.

While being questioned by authorities, Rouse admitted that she had pet his ferret inappropriately touched the child the day before, Fox13 reported.

In addition to the two cases, police claim that Rouse is sending messages to undercover agents online.

Rouse is held on $300,000 bonds, according to Sheriff's office records.

Clearwater Police Department did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.
