Secretary of State Marco Rubio arrived in Israel late Saturday on his first trip to the Middle East after President Donald Trump's widely condemned proposal to drive away Palestinians in Gaza.
Trump first came to the proposal on January 25th that Egypt and Jordan should bring Palestinians from Gaza.

After meeting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Washington in a shocking announcement on February 4th, Trump took control and ownership of Gaza's 2.2 million Palestinians and the US-damaged seaside enclave. It proposed redevelopment in the “Middle Eastern Riviera.”
On February 10, he said the Palestinians had no right to return to Gaza under his plan, contradicting his own officials who had suggested that the Gazas would move temporarily.

The US president's comments reflect the long-standing fears of Palestinians that they would be ejected from their homes forever and were classified as ethnic cleansing suggestions by some critics.
According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, the US Israeli military attacks on Gaza, now suspended by a vulnerable ceasefire, have killed more than 47,000 Palestinians in the last 16 months, and Israeli denied genocide and war crimes caused accusations.
The assault internally drove almost all of Gaza's population, causing a hunger crisis.
