The dangerous cells from the Gulf Cartels are terrified by completely immunity and jealous of the heart of Tamaulipas, Mexico, despite the presence of military, federal and state police. One of the group's most infamous violence cases came in December when the group lured and killed two employees from the Padilla city government that they had tried to attack. The incident took place at a Christmas season party hosted by the city, where members of the cell appeared and took the woman there. One of the women refused their progress and they began to brutally defeat her in public. There was police presence in the area, but the authorities did not intervene. Two city employees tried to stop the assault, but the gunmen lured them to kill them.
A few days ago, the gunman killed a local taxi driver and invited two employees from an internet company. The cell is based in Padilla and terrified the surrounding communities of San Carlos, El Barreltar and Nicolas Bravo.
After a Christmas party was murdered and attempted rape during a city event, Escorpion leaders moved the cell to the city of Sotramarina in the central part of the state. Since their arrival, the group has been able to operate again with full immunity again without interference from the Tamaulipas National Guard, the Mexican National Guard, or the military.
