Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass announced Friday that LAFD Fire Chief Christine Crowley had been fired.
Crawley criticised Bass and other Democrat leaders as the city, claiming that the 10,000 residents displaced in the January wildfires failed.
Crawley said the lack of staffing had an impact on the department's response times as flames began to rip across Los Angeles.

“Budget cuts will affect our ability to provide services,” Crawley said in January. “That's the basic truth about our capabilities. If we had budget cuts, we had to pull from somewhere. What does that mean?
Crawley said lack of staffing and lack of resources were pressing issues. Faced with LAFD For years. She pointed to a series of notes she sent to cities that detailed the needs of the department.
In a statement Friday, Bass said: “To operate in the best interests of public safety in Los Angeles and to run the Los Angeles Fire Department, I removed Christine Crowley as the fire chief. She said, “My office will lead the national search while the department is in the hands of Villa Nueva Chief's experienced and experts, and I would like to see them at the next permanent chief and Anges. I'll talk directly to Lenos.”
Republican Rick Caruso, who ran for the bases in the last mayoral election, criticized Crowley's firing.
