Between Appeared at Dartmouth CollegeD-Mass. Rep. Seth Moulton argued that he made a massive tactical mistake in how Democrats criticize President Donald Trump.
Moulton said Democrats need to focus on areas where Trump is not dedicated to his campaign promises.
“One of the biggest mistakes we've made all along is campaigning for this idea that Trump is a bad person. “What do you guess? People figured it out,” he says. I did.
He continues, conservatives “know he's a bad guy, he knows he doesn't share my values, but he's trying to get what I want.” He continued to insisted that he “made this bargain.” You may have strong beliefs like a lower tax, or in fact, “He intends to achieve my position with abortion.” ”

“So it's not effective for Democrats to be moral and say, 'Oh, you shouldn't vote for him',” Moulton said.
He also ultimately argued that it was ineffective to condemn politicians for achieving his chosen agenda.
“I think we shouldn't be so focused on the anger at what he's doing right now. “So let's focus on where he's not actually delivering.”
After he quoted Trump's campaign promises on inflation and the quick end of the war in Ukraine, he said, “Let's talk about where he hasn't fulfilled his promises. That's more than the rage you see today. I think it's a much more effective strategy.”
