Ramel “Mena” Warner lived with the family of Brooklyn victims for two years and frequently babysatted the seven-year-old victim, federal prosecutors said in court documents. Warner, 23, is allegedly made six different videos of the abuse, investigators said.
He was accused of acting in a harmful way to a child under the age of 11, forcing him to be moved and sexually abused on a federal court on January 29th.

Both the FBI and NYPD We asked other possible victims to bring their claims to Warner forward.
The victim told his mother about the alleged abuse in November 2022.
At the time, Warner was arrested by the NYPD and was immediately charged with 11 counts indictment.
“The defendant not only had access to the child prior to his arrest, but he continued to participate in the children's dance groups he met in middle school, even after being arrested for raping the child,” authorities said in the indictment.
“The defendant's relentless efforts to connect with children even after being arrested for serious crimes against children indicate that once released they cannot be trusted to leave their children.”
The application failed to mention the school that Warner had an affair with. Federal and city officials refused to disclose the school's names.
Warner remained in custody and it was unclear on Friday if he had an attorney and who it was.
